AYDIN ACAR YACHT GLASS' chemically tempered curved and flat glass solutions are used for toughening soda-lime, float and borosilicate based glasses. The glasses are strengthened in the salt bath through sodium and potassium ion exchange, while optical distortion is kept to a minimum. Depending on the desired balance of hardness and bending strength, glasses can be strengthened between 8 and 16 hours. These high-strength glasses are favoured for their durability and aesthetics in marine applications.
